Hope you will see this comment . I used your this theme for my holiday home rental website. I customize some parts of it. http://www.lankaholidayresorts.lk

It was really came nicely all that fine. And i love this theme. But one issue ,

I found that in webmaster central it gives 404 erors for lots of pages ,

it has a "

what cause this issue , what should i do to remove this.

I have tried what you suggested but just can’t get the images to work at all. I do get access to the screen options you talk about in your post and have added the cutom field in the way you describe. However, the featured news box is still blank and no thumbs appear in my homepage posts (although they do appear on the post page.

Can anybody give some alternative workarounds for this – before I lose all my sanity!

Use the custom fields option
CUSTOM FIELDS: you can find it at the bottom area while creating a post , create a preview field and add the url of the image.
Featured images: Just activate the featured image option from the Screen options and add the image easily

For those with the picture issue. I also had this problem. To fix it you need to create a custom field. It must have the name “preview”, and the value must be the url to the image (this only really worked when it linked to a picture I was personally hosting). By default I dont think WordPress shows the add custom field feature and I found clicking “Screen Options” when you create a new post (its in the top right hand corner), and then ticking “Custom fields”.

Me too. I cannot see the custom field option in mine…I posted in the support forum here and got no replies…
