Hi there and thanks so much for the fantastic theme.

I'm trying to use Gamerpress as a base for a heavy metal blog and reviews site but was wondering if it would be possible to get the .PSD files for some of the artwork? I'd quite like to change the monster to the left to something more in keeping with the music or country that the site is going to focus on. Even a .png of the background layers without the monster would do just fine.

Let me think… in the /wp-content/themes/gamerpress find the sponsors.php and (back it up just in case) open it and delete everything in it. as for the Popular Posts Go to /wp-content/themes/gamerpress and find the sidebar.php and (back it up just in case) delete…

I am having the same problem wheras the links aren't being displayed as links on the home page, only when you click “read more.” They are displaying as code, but oddly, not html. They have some other code in the code. a2a_config.linkname=”Cheerios New Author Contest”;

I noticed that when Adding Disqus to this Theme it changes the number in the corner that represents the number of comments to the Number with the word “comments” after. This will cause Text bleeding into other Clickable items. Is there a quick fix?

i know it may seem a dumb question, but.. how do i add the pictures to the featured and popular posts?
when i click “Set featured image” it simply adds the image in the post, but don't set it as a post thumbnail..

tested with WP 3.0 and WP 2.9.

found the 'problem'.. the wordpress need the file in the library.. i was trying adding the url of a file. this way, the option to use as thumbnail doesn't show up.

Maybe you can help. I'm trying to figure out how to make post thumbnails for the sidebar. When I click “set featured image” it works and I do have a working thumbnail, but it also posts the thumbnail image in my post automatically. Do you know to how keep it from putting it in your post? Thanks!

In Aministration panel just choose the category from “Appearance” –> “Gamerpress options” and then set the Featured post Category to the category you want.

The problem is that sites in Hebrew and Russian.
The problem is that future posts. On the main page, each cube of the post are a post.
Names in Russian and Hebrew languages of the posts do not appear.

Apparently it's a problem encoding,
But I do not know where exactly to order the encoding of language.

I know this is an old post but for anyone else stumped on this: After you select your image click Use as featured image at the bottom.

Google wp-paginate. Download and read the read me file for directions. Very simple and it has it’s own css to easily change colors.

Great theme! I have an issue with my “featured” box and my post page layout. It looks great in I.E. but won’t load right in Firefox and Chrome. It is a podcasting website with Podpress 8.8.9.2 installed. Basically in the post previews that show on the post page the play buttons for the podcasts are squooshed together. And the play buttons won’t even show up on the 1st featured post, but if you scroll to the next featured post the play buttons are there.

Any ideas? Not sure if it would be a Podpress issue. Like I said, IE is good, FF and Chrome aren’t.

I’m fairly new to this as well, but what I did was took the original image titled “head.png”, and edited the creature out of it in Photoshop. I also added my own logo to the header image, so now it’s personalized to my liking After you edit it, you have to upload it to your wp-content/wp-themes/gamerpress/images folder, and replace the one that you had previously. Hope this helps.

So my only issue with this theme is that my boxes (my posts on the main index page) are not filling in the top right corner where there should be a post. No matter how many posts I post, that top right corner spot is always blank, and now it’s getting extremely annoying because…it’s blank…! Is there any way I can fix this? look at the sidebar.php in themes folder. maybe you should delete couple things. backup before you do that!

umm sponsors are at sponsors.php
