Jobpress is a very special theme from web2feel. I am very proud of it. I wanted to create a free Job board based on wordpress. I was not very sure of getting this done as a complete solution when I started. But what can I say, the WordPress community is so awesome, help is just a mouse click away when you need it.  With this theme you can host your own Job board for free. Registered users can submit job listings on your site and an admin can review and publish it.  This theme is WordPress 3 ready with features like Custom menu, custom post types, custom taxonomies, Custom page templates, widgetized sidebar, and it includes 2 custom widgets and theme option page . I have made two screencasts to explain the job listing process.

    Fantastic theme and really great features.

    I just have a couple of questions;

    >Do you have the PSD for the logo so I can make it into my company name?
    >Can you update the theme so that the Apply To Job button just brings up a form requesting the applicants Name, Email, Phone Number and Upload A CV.
    >The blog page is not working for me. I set a page template to Blog but then it just shows Home as the only article. How do I work the blog? Is it meant to show Posts? What are you meant to do, I cant find a tutorial.

    With JobPress I have noticed one strange thing happening on the blog page, (http://www.cadagency.co.uk/blog)

    I have added a page, and called it blog. I then set the page template to ‘Blog’.

    Now though, on the blog page, it doesn’t show my blog postings it just shows “Home”

    I have added the latest blog posts to the sidebar and this shows my latest blog posts correctly, so why is it not correct on blog page?

      Ok I have worked my problem out!

      If anyone else is having this issue here is what you need to do;

      1) Go into Appearance > Editor

      2) Edit Blog Page Template (blog.php)

      3) Find the line have_posts()) : $wp_query->the_post(); ?>

      4) Replace this line with

      query(‘posts_per_page=5′.’&paged=’.$paged);

      while ($wp_query->have_posts()) : $wp_query->the_post();

      ?>

      You can change the number of posts to what ever you like…

      5) Save this file

      6) The page should now display your blog posts correctly. The page you have set as your blog needs to have the template set as ‘blog’

    This theme is nice!

    But at this moment, I am using JobEngine(http://enginethemes.com/), this theme absolutely is great!!

    I surely you will love it from the first sign by its design. It looks stunning. You guys should coem to check it!!

    submit job when the message Warning: Can not modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at / home / forniaga / public_html / job / wp-content / themes / Jobpress / header.php: 2) in / home / forniaga / public_html / job / wp-includes / pluggable.php on line 876

    The second problem members can submit jobs to send the form without content. if there is no such warning: field can not be empty?

    what’s the solution?

      Your problem with is that your file HEADER.PHP must be saved as ANSI or UTF8 W/B (sure it is in UTF8 encoding)

    Perhaps to make the company name was clickable, when you click on it you can see all the jobs of the company?

    Is it possible to change ‘job_type’ = http://jillo.se/?job_type=categoryname to something else like 12345 so it will be like this http://jillo.se/?12345=categoryname??

    How to do if we want more field to be able to capture when submitting job post ? Like defining location with Google map interface and salary range stuff like that.
