Free theme Scarlett has been around here for more than an year now. It was released when wordpress was in its 2.5 version. It is one of the most used theme released by web2feel.com. I have been working on an a Pro version of the Scarlett with added features and functionality for some time. The Pro version of the Scarlett theme is almost complete now. It will be a paid theme. This version is packed with features that are not available on the free version of the Scarlett theme. The paid version will have a better Options page with more theme options, Multiple home page layouts, different page templates, Custom widgets and much less plugin dependency.

I know it's annoying that people keep asking when it will be available, but when will it be available? Dying to get my hands on it.

Hi Jinsona, just wondering if you have a specific date for the new Scarlett theme? I understand it will be $50. Can you only put the theme on one site with this, or use it for as many sites as you want under your name?

1 last thing, will the paid advertising be removed in the footer with the paid theme?

Yes. Thats the idea. Probably not along with scarlett pro, but only after few more themes are added to the paid themes roster.

Hi. I was looking at Scarlett as a possible replacement for my theme a www.freewaregenius.com
My question is whether Scarlett PRO will have the ability to auto generate post thumbnails for both the top carousel as well as the post thumbnails in the sidebar.

Also, whether it will contain encrypted code (Theme Authenticity Checker http://builtbackwards.com/projects/tac/ indicated that Scarlett had encrypted code).

Scarlett Pro will not be using the customfield method for thumbnail images. It will be using the Post image feature available on wordpress since 2.9. and of course it will not have encrypted footer.

Great. I'd like to get my hands on this theme. Let me know when it's available for sale.
One suggestion though: the option to have numbers under the featured posts thumbnails in the carousel, as exist on my site. I have found via clickmaps that I have made of my site that people click on them heavily.
