I can not get my images to show up in the slider... i have done everything and it doesn´t work, i create the screen stuff, then put the link of the images, put the cache folder on 777, and again nothing i only see the main title text and the rest appear in black, i also have issues with youtube, it only shows the square of the movie but it doesn't show the movie controlls, also at the side bar sometimes shows a scrolling down of 5 news ok and sometimes it only shows one and still, any ideas?

I'd like the vertical sliding thing in the sidebar to show more than 10 posts, and perhaps have them all be random. As it is, it shows the last 10 posts in chronological order over and over again.

By the way, I got rid of the top sideways slider, so that's why it doesn't appear. It worked perfectly, I just didn't want it up there.

Just started using this great theme. Having trouble using category templates with it though... I want to have a different sidebar for each category for different affiliate links. I've created a sidebar4.php and also a category.php file using

if ( in_category('CAT NAME') ) : get_sidebar('4');
else :
get_sidebar();
endif;

but the sidebar never changes! Any idea how to make this work?

HELP!!!

Why does my site still say "Scarlett" in the header? and not the name of my site? The site title should be there but it's not. I have set the site title in the settings... general... settings of WP.

Please help.

The reason is that Scarlett is an image not text. What you have to do is create a new image and replace the one called logo.jpg in the images directory for the theme. If you don't know how to do that then upload the free eBook on this blog post and look at the section on CPanel that tells you how to upload files.

Don't forget that the new image has to have the name logo.jpg and should overwrite the existing one with the same name.
